Why does the media give Obama a p on the Ayers controversy, but gives Sarah Palin's daughter hell?

So they focus a huge amount of time on Sarah Palin's daughter being pregnant by a loving husband-to-be, but give Obama's ociation with an unrepentant terrorist who admits to bombing the Pentagon hardly any attention? What kind of backwards logic is that?
