Shouldn't OIdon't care follow Hoover, Truman and Eisenhower?

Presidents Hoover, Truman and Eisenhower enacted bills that returned millions of illegal peoples to their place of birth to benefit the US. Hoover during the recession and Truman and Eisenhower(the Wet Back Bill) to benefit returning GIs. With 12 to 15 million illegals in the US, and returning GIs unalbe to find employment, isn't it time our government looks to the past and enacts legislation to protect our Gis in their OWN COUNTRY.
