lots of students suffer from this kinda issue, but i can tell one precious thing, if u made a problem of this situation, u will always care about what people say about u, then u will end up calculating every single move so the popular ones will not make fun of u, i am a girl who never cares about the opinion of others, i just go with what i like and do what is the best for me, it will take sometime to others get used to it, but u should fight against them, u should NEVER care for what they say, if u did, they will want to tease u more and make fun of u more, but if u did it the way i told u, a day after day, they will notice that u dont care abt their crap anymore, and they will keep away from u cz they will think that u r no more fun to them, beginning with that u can build a brand new life, trust me it is the way which it will work, u maybe not like what ive just wrote, but some day u will realize what am toking abt. the best of luck dsdsd..
