Which civilization, the Mayas or Aztecs, were better known for warriors?

Does anybody know which was a better warrior? In other words, which of these warriors were the elite warrior of their times? Or, was there a more fearsome warrior then these two? Also, any links that may depict pictures of these warriors for these two civilizations? What type of vistement and tools for fighting did they wear during battle?
