If muscle cells dont divide, how can muscles repair themselves? AP Bio and life?

So in ap bio my book says "highly specialized cells such as nerve and muscle cells never divide." Well then how do injuries repair themselves, if muscles dont divide, how can they do mitosis to repair themselves? How can people who tear muscles regrow them?/
